Context: 

Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, the Union Minister for Ports, Shipping, and Waterways, officially opened the National Logistics Portal (Marine) today. It is also known as “Sagar-Setu.”

About

Through the SAGAR-SETU app of the National Logistics Portal (Marine), real-time information about vessels, gates, container freight stations, and transactions will be made available. This will allow digital payments.
The app will boost maritime trade, help the economy, and make operations and monitoring easier to see.

Portal for National Logistics (Marine)

In order to facilitate seamless document interchange and business transactions between exporters, importers, and service providers, the National Logistics Portal (Marine) is a national maritime single window platform.
Building ports and digitizing the nation’s maritime infrastructure are the objectives of the Maritime India Vision 2030, which is intended to take the place of the Sagarmala Scheme.
